Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC)
Section titled “Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC)”CySEC is the financial supervisory authority of Cyprus and the competent authority for MiCA in Cyprus (alongside the Central Bank of Cyprus for ART/EMT prudential matters). It supervises CASPs and is responsible for authorisations under Article 62 MiCAR, Article 60 notifications, and ongoing CASP supervision.
