The Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) is Greece’s capital market regulator and the competent authority for MiCAR in Greece, responsible for authorising and supervising CASPs and overseeing crypto-asset white-paper notifications. The Bank of Greece may also have supervisory responsibilities in relation to ART and EMT issuers that are credit institutions or e-money institutions.
